paycheck," our Employee Benefit Plans provide an umbrella
of security and protection for you and your family.
Thrift and Retirement Plan
- 401(k) Plan - Set-aside up to 50% of your salary and
we will match 100% of your contributions up to 6% for
your long-term savings and retirement. Additionally, Samson
will make a 2% non-matching contribution to the 401(k)
plan for eligible employees. Maximum company contribution
is 8%. Graduated vesting up to 100% at 5 years of vested
service.
Insurance Coverage
- Medical and Dental Coverage - Our plan includes hospital,
medical, surgical, and dental coverage for employees and
their families. We pay most of the monthly premiums for
such coverage.
- Group Term Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment
Insurance - Both the Life and AD&D insurance are
provided at no cost to the employee.
- Optional Life Insurance - Employees may purchase additional
life insurance coverage for themselves and family members
at their own expense.
- Short Term Disability Insurance - Depending upon length
of service, we will continue a portion of an employee's
pay for an absence due to personal illness or injury for
up to 180 days.
- Long Term Disability Insurance - Our plan offers two election options for coverage that will pay you for a covered disability if you are continuously disabled beyond 180 days.
- Business Travel Insurance - Samson provides business and medical emergency assistance insurance at no cost to the employee whenever an employee is required to travel on company business.
Cafeteria Plan
- Flex Plan - Medical and Dental - Allows employees
to pay for eligible personal and dependent health expenses
(deductibles, co-insurance, vision, hearing, etc.) on
a pre-tax basis.
- Flex Plan - Dependent Care - Allows employees to pay
for dependent care expenses for children under age 13
and dependent adults, who are mentally or physically disabled
and living in employee's home, on a pre-tax basis.
Paid Time Off
- Paid Time Off - PTO monthly accruals begin immediately
upon employment : Paid Time Off has a minimum of three
weeks and a maximum of six weeks depending on years of
service credit.
- Holidays - Samson has ten (10) paid holidays, including
a personal choice floating holiday.
Other Benefits
- Parking - Samson provides parking assistance to all
employees.
- Educational Assistance Program - We pay 100% of tuition
and books upon successful completion of approved job-related
courses at accredited institutions.
- Direct Payroll Deposit - Pay may be deposited directly
to any two financial institutions of employee's choice
anywhere in the United States.
- Good Health Program - We provide 75% reimbursement
for approved smoking cessation expenses for employee
and spouse, up to $200, and 75% reimbursement for health
club dues, up to $250 per calendar year.
- On-Site Fitness Center (Tulsa)-We offer a free, fully equipped 24 hour fitness facility in the Tulsa headquarters building.
- Child Care Resource and Referral Service (Tulsa) -
To assist Samson parents in finding quality, affordable
childcare in the greater Tulsa area, we sponsor an information
and referral service through Tulsa's Child Care Resource
Center.
- Employee Assistance Program - Employee Advisory Resource
(EAR) is available to offer confidential short-term support
and/or referrals for employees and their families.
- Computer Purchase Program - Samson offers a computer reimbursement program to help employees acquire computer and related products for their use at home.
