SAMSON COMPLETES SOUTH TEXAS ACQUISITION
Tulsa, Oklahoma (February 15, 2002) – Samson Investment Company, Tulsa, Oklahoma today announced the completion of an acquisition from Texas Independent Exploration Limited of natural gas properties in Starr County, Texas.
Hank Winfield, Samson’s Chief Financial Officer states, “This acquisition represents a nice building block to Samson’s continued expansion in the Vicksburg trend. We believe these properties include numerous drilling and recompletion opportunities that will provide positive results for Samson.”
